Effective November 20th, 2025, foreigners may fill in the relevant entry information online before coming to China through NIA’s official website, Government Service Platform, “NIA 12367” APP and WeChat or Alipay mini program or by scanning the QR code with mobile phones.

填写线上入境卡后，建议保存提交成功的确认页面或信息，例如通过截图保存二维码、下载PDF文件或记录确认邮件，以备入境时查验。
It is advisable to save the confirmation page or details after submitting the online arrival card, such as by taking a screenshot of the QR code, downloading the PDF file, or noting the confirmation email, for potential verification upon entry.
Foreigners who cannot fill in the information online in advance may complete the process upon arriving at the immigration inspection site in the ports of China by scanning the QR code with mobile phones or using the smart devices at the port to fill in the entry information online or filling in the paper Arrival Card.
以下7种情形的外国人可免于填报：
The following persons are exempt from filling in:
1、持有效外国人永久居留身份证的外国人；
2、持有效港澳居民来往内地通行证（非中国籍）的外国人；
3、24小时直接过境不离开口岸限定区域的外国人；
4、团体免签或持团体签证的外国旅游团成员；
5、外国籍机组人员、船员、司机等交通运输工具员工；
6、乘坐邮轮入出境并随原邮轮返回的外国人；
7、符合集中交验出入境证件礼遇条件的人员；
8、经边检快捷通道入境的外国人。
1.Foreigners with valid Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card of People's Republic of China.
2.Foreigners with valid Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents (Non-Chinese).
3.Foreigners transiting directly within 24 hours without leaving the restricted area of the port.
4.Members of foreign tourist groups who are visa-free or holding group visa.
5.Foreign crew members, drivers and other employees of transport vehicles.
6.Foreigners who enter by cruise ship and return with the original cruise.
7.Individuals eligible for the courteous treatment of centralized submission of entry and exit documents.
8.Foreigners who enter through the E-channel.
